Art Apartment

This is full remodel project, original layout was partially kept. Original layout had a closed kitchen, smaller master bedroom, and smaller master bathrooms. It also had two spare bedrooms that were kept in their original layout.

In the kitchen, main walls separating the spaces were removed, some structural reinforcements were needed in the roof, and the new layout features a large open kitchen with massive island and hidden back laundry, pantry space. Originally this space was an enclosed kitchen, laundry, and service maids quarters. Now the kitchen is fully open towards living room and social space.

In the master bedroom, the space that was closet and bathroom was turned into a larger master bathroom, and a wasted space in hallway was turned into a large closet space for master bedroom.

The wood floors in the bedrooms were refinished and the floors of all the other areas were changed into a modern calacata style tile. All the electrical and lighting is new LED style and ceilings and indirect lighting was designed for bedrooms, and kitchen, dinning space.
